Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for land use planning, entitlement processing, and development review
Guide residential and commercial development in alignment with City priorities and community values
Oversee 15 staff and provide leadership support to six Planning Commissioners
Administer an approximate FY 2026 budget of $4.2 million
Improve development processes, support staff, and partner with elected officials, commissions, and the development community
Qualification
Required
Experience in planning, building, permitting, safety, land use, and environmental review
Strong technical background in community development
