Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor plastic extrusion lines according to established procedures and specifications
Perform start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns of extrusion equipment
Monitor product quality, dimensions, and tolerances; make adjustments as needed to maintain specifications
Conduct in-process inspections and document results per quality requirements
Troubleshoot extrusion processes and equipment issues to minimize downtime
Qualification
Required
1–3+ years of hands-on experience in plastic extrusion manufacturing
Experience operating extrusion equipment (medical device, tubing, or precision plastics preferred)
Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and quality documentation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
