Responsibilities

Support for ongoing product engineering efforts on qualified products; assist in problem-solving and improving existing products
Drives engineering efforts for new product qualification
Provide custom product engineering support
Create and/or review product documentation including Assembly/Post Assembly Travelers, Screening Travelers, and Data Sheets
Responsible for identifying new product BOMs (Bill of Materials) as they are developed or changes as they are implemented
Support test engineers to improve assembly and test Follow up with Corrective Actions, as assigned

Required

Experience with AC/DC electrical parameter testing for diodes, transistors and MOSFET, including hands-on test characterization and analysis
Experience with root-cause and failure analysis, FMEA, DMEA, 5-whys
Beneficial if the candidate has a working knowledge of related military specifications including MIL-PRF-19500, MIL-STD-750, and MIL-STD-883 and use this knowledge in reviewing customer drawings
All functions must meet these military standards
U.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3)

Preferred

BSEE preferred, BSME or relevant Engineering Degree, MS preferred
Experience a plus. Ideal candidate 2 years+ experience is in a Semiconductor manufacturing environment in Product Engineering, metal, or glass assembly processes
Semiconductor physics knowledge
Working knowledge of FEA and simulation package experience preferably Ansys
Working knowledge of CAD preferably Solidworks software would be beneficial
Statistical tools experience - JMP
Spice modeling, and parameters extraction
Software skills in NI LabVIEW
