Responsibilities
Monitor breaking news for a range of fast-paced accounts and compile coverage reports for clients
Research and identify media targets to build press lists
Draft client-facing materials, including press releases, fact-sheets, award submissions and op-eds
Generate creative ideas to help clients break through the noise and secure earned media coverage in print, broadcast, and online publications
Join internal and client calls and take detailed notes
Help staff in-person events as needed
Qualification
Required
Rising senior or recent graduate eager to learn about public relations and strategic communications
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with a proven ability to produce well-written and compelling documents
Highly organized, detail-oriented and independent individual who can quickly analyze issues, execute several projects simultaneously, and think creatively and problem-solve to advance client priorities
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
A strong interest in news and current events
