Responsibilities
Develop atom array error models for Quantum Error Correction (QEC) circuit simulations and resource estimation
Model and simulate atomic motion during atom array transports under potential noise and imperfections
Develop software for numerical simulation and analysis for atom array operations including gates and transport
Qualification
Required
PhD degree in Physics or Engineering, other technical field, or equivalent practical experience
3 years of experience conducting research in quantum information science or technology
Experience developing software for numerical simulation, modeling, or data analysis
One or more scientific publication submissions for conferences, journals, or public repositories (such as Physical Review, AAAS, Nature and npj, etc.)
Preferred
Experience with modeling and simulation of atom array transport
Experience with optimal control theory
Understanding of theoretical atomic and optical physics
Familiarity with quantum information theory
