Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for our customers in a timely manner
Maintain customer equipment at customer facility, while also creating maintenance plans
Full time equivalent at customer facility in South Portland, ME
Provide technical support and expertise for our gas detection solutions
Willing to be on-call 24/7
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions
Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service engineering or a related technical role
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in electronics, pneumatics, etc
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Experience with relevant tools and technologies such as PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial control systems
Valid driver's license
Willing to be on-call 24/7
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
Military experience
Experience in customer-facing roles and technical support
General knowledge of SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft Windows
