Responsibilities
Handle air and ocean import shipments A–Z, from pre-alert through final delivery
Coordinate with overseas agents, airlines, steamship lines, trucking providers, and customers
Prepare and review import documentation (HBL/MBL, arrival notices, delivery orders, invoices)
Track shipments and proactively manage exceptions and delays
Work closely with internal customs brokerage and operations teams
Maintain accurate shipment records and billing in CargoWise (CW1)
Provide consistent, high-level customer service to assigned accounts
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in air and/or ocean import operations within a freight forwarding environment
Hands-on experience working shipments end-to-end (A–Z)
Strong communication skills with customers and overseas partners
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a high-volume setting
Preferred
Prior exposure to CargoWise is strongly preferred
Experience coordinating with customs brokers and final-mile providers is a plus
