Scalence L.L.C. is seeking a Data Center Energy Marshal to ensure the highest standards of energy isolation and electrical safety. The role involves overseeing compliance with safety programs, collaborating with teams, and driving project execution.

Responsibilities
Implement learnings and drive consistency in energy isolation and electrical safety programs
Support the DCD Project Manager with EHS responsibilities and incident response
Participate in safety and hazard analysis meetings and provide support in energy isolation procedure preparation
Monitor construction and commissioning efforts to ensure compliance with safety standards
Manage General Contractor in the preparation of system start-up books and Operations and Maintenance Manuals
Participate in weekly meetings with OFCI vendors and provide input on quality and scope controls for MEP trades
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
Experience in data center construction and commissioning standards and practices
Proven ability to interact with teams and implement improvements
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions and concepts to engineers and non-engineers
Knowledge of construction techniques, terminology, and documentation with strong ability to interpret line drawings and system redundancies
Familiarity with multiple sources of energy and equipment in data centers, with an emphasis on electrical systems
OSHA 30 Hour Training
NFPA 70e or NFPA CESCP Certification
Preferred
Experience in promoting safe site practices as part of an assurance role
Ability to audit and provide technical training to personnel as necessary
Experience in managing and reviewing MEP quality-related items
