Palantir Ontology Data Engineer
Cynet Systems is a company seeking a Palantir Ontology Data Engineer. The role involves building and implementing the data layer of applications using the Palantir Foundry platform and converting existing data models into Palantir Ontology representations.

Responsibilities
Build and implement the data layer of applications using the Palantir Foundry platform
Convert existing data models into Palantir Ontology representations
Recommend improvements to data models to enhance performance, extensibility, and flexibility
Set up ingestion and export relationships between ontology data and external data sources
Implement data validations and transformations using Foundry capabilities
Create examples or interface code to support integration with other system components
Act as a knowledge resource for Palantir tools within the team
Support optimization of operational and investment decision tools through scalable data solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Sciences, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
Strong experience building data-heavy applications or working as a data engineer
Demonstrated proficiency with Palantir Foundry, including data modeling and Ontology Manager
Experience using Python for data processing and transformation
Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand software architectures and data designs
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver work on time
Good technical communication and collaboration skills
Experience working in Agile teams
Multiple years of experience in data engineering or building data-intensive applications
Hands-on experience developing solutions using Palantir Foundry
Experience implementing data models and ontology-based systems
Preferred
Experience with additional Palantir Foundry tools such as Workshop or Quiver
Exposure to large-scale data platforms and complex system integrations
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Sciences, Mathematics, or related field preferred
