Lead Technician of Field Operations & Client Services

T.A.C.T. is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Lead Technician of Field Operations & Client Services to oversee all aspects of field operations, client engagement, and project estimation. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining safety standards, coordinating field teams, and fostering exceptional client relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and coordinate all field personnel, including Technicians, Field Coordinators, and subcontractors
Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and company safety protocols across all projects
Participate in the planning, scheduling, and execution of field projects to meet timelines and quality standards
Maintain operational readiness of equipment, vehicles, and tools; ensure proper maintenance, inventory, and PPE availability
Conduct site visits and audits to monitor compliance, safety, and performance of field teams
Serve as the primary escalation point for client communications, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction
Perform client consultations and site visits
Ensure client requirements, expectations, and feedback are accurately captured and communicated to relevant teams
Collaborate with support staff to ensure proposals and project documentation reflect client needs and company standards
Perform all estimation and proposal activities ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company pricing and policies
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of proposals to clients
Analyze project metrics, costs, and timelines to optimize efficiency and profitability
Mentor and develop field and client-facing teams, promoting professional growth, accountability, and safety culture
Implement training programs, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Foster a collaborative and professional work environment across field, office, and client-facing roles
Provide regular operational and project performance reports to executive management
Identify process improvements, resource needs, and operational efficiencies
Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance service delivery, client satisfaction, and business growth

Required

Proven experience in biohazard remediation, environmental services, or a related industry, including supervisory or leadership roles
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and company safety regulations
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams, projects, and operational functions effectively
Exceptional communication, client service, and interpersonal skills
Experience with project estimation, proposal management, and client pre-qualification processes
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
Proficiency with computers, scheduling software, and business management tools
Ability to work in challenging or sensitive environments and maintain professionalism under pressure
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Comfort working in confined, cluttered, or potentially hazardous environments
Capability to wear full PPE (respirators, suits, gloves, etc.) for extended periods when required by site conditions
