Responsibilities
Assist prospective students throughout the college decision-making, application, and enrollment processes by providing clear information and guidance
Manage communication plans with prospective students via phone, email, social media, and CRM systems to nurture relationships and increase application yield
Conduct outreach activities, including high school visits, college fairs, and community events to promote OSU-OKC and recruit prospective students
Develop and deliver engaging presentations tailored to various audiences on topics related to higher education and OSU-OKC programs
Maintain accurate and comprehensive data related to prospective students to support relationship management and recruitment strategies
Build and sustain relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and other stakeholders, serving as a primary contact for recruitment initiatives
Lead targeted recruitment efforts for specific populations, such as at-risk students, concurrent high school students, or diverse community groups, including hosting podcasts, social media campaigns, and grant-funded events
Coordinate campus visits and tours for prospective students, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience
Collaborate with campus departments to develop marketing materials, update web content, and execute integrated recruitment campaigns
Represent OSU-OKC at community and professional events, promoting the university’s mission and programs
Support admissions operations by reviewing applications, evaluating documents, and assisting with front-line customer service when needed
Supervise and train student employees and volunteers involved in recruitment activities
Participate in campus-wide retention initiatives and departmental process improvements to enhance overall effectiveness
Complete mandatory training and engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in recruitment and higher education
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the university’s strategic objectives
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree
Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in recruitment, sales, or related fields
Experience working in fast-paced, customer service-oriented environments
Familiarity with electronic communication tools and CRM systems
Valid driver's license
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
