Client Services Representative - $18.00 per hour

7Seventy Recruiting is looking for a Client Services Representative who will act as a key point of contact for clients, managing inquiries and supporting account activities. The role involves maintaining client relationships, documenting interactions, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Information Services

Responsibilities

Build and maintain constructive, cooperative working relationships with clients over time
Communicate with clients by phone to provide or obtain information, including account status updates and contact details
Respond to client inquiries within the same business day whenever possible
Document client interactions by recording inquiry details, concerns, and actions taken in internal systems
Verify that appropriate updates and changes were completed to address client questions or concerns
Escalate unresolved inquiries to the appropriate departments for further review and investigation
Process itemized bill requests and handle disputes through designated tools/workflows when applicable
Notify clients regarding final bill requests, balance/payment verifications, disputes, and potential fraud or identity theft, and follow up as needed
Post direct payments accurately and in a timely manner
Access client websites/portals when needed to support consumer resolutions
Prepare and process monthly client statements, including payment details and invoices, and reconcile any disputes
Participate in audits, client visits, external meetings, conference calls, and summits as required
Keep process and procedure documentation current and accurate
Follow applicable federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies and procedures

Required

Ability to represent the organization professionally in client communications
Working knowledge of customer service principles and best practices
Ability to multitask and work across multiple computer systems (internal and external)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with peers, leaders, and cross-functional teams
Comfort resolving conflicts and negotiating solutions when needed
Adaptable and able to handle change with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation

Preferred

Experience in collections or a call center environment
