Responsibilities
Researches, designs, implements and manage software programs as well as testing and evaluating new programs
Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
Writing and implementing efficient code
Develop quality assurance procedures and deploy software tools, processes and metrics
Works closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts
Acts as team leader on projects
Participates in development of software user manuals
Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team
Consults with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements
Experience developing, maintaining, and updating software applications using Java 8 or similar versions of Java
Web Development experience using React, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS
Experience in application support including but not limited to querying and analyzing database information, environment deployments to web and application servers, performing load and performance testing, certificate management, and monitoring server health
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks
Experience with Git version control and GitHub
Experience using Oracle Commerce products ATG Web Commerce 11.4, Endeca Commerce 11.4, and Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 11.4
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using EBS Jenkins or GitHub Actions to orchestrate builds, automated testing, and deployments
Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, and Linux servers
Experience using Ansible for configuration management and automation
Qualification
Required
Experience developing, maintaining, and updating software applications using Java 8 or similar versions of Java

A minimum of Eight (8) years' relevant experience
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required
Typically performs all functional duties independently
