Application Analyst

The Information Services Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating information systems activities, ensuring quality and consistency across IT teams, and acting as a liaison during system implementation phases.

Information Technology & Services

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary representative during all phases of system implementation, including build, configuration, testing, and go-live support
Oversee incident, problem, request, and change management processes, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
Act as an escalation point for the focus area, providing guidance and oversight to support teams, and ensuring adherence to quality standards
Demonstrate expert knowledge of application design, configuration, and workflows, applying this expertise to meet customer goals and establish operational standards
Coach team members, facilitate cross-training, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and creative problem solving
Coordinate efforts across application teams, including application development and compliance, to design and maintain system processes aligned with organizational policies
Develop and deliver clear project status reports to stakeholders, manage communication between teams, and facilitate collaborative work sessions
Engage with Epic systems, including Nova, Galaxy, and other documentation, to stay current with new features and best practices
Analyze, design, and independently configure system modules, providing training and mentorship to team members
Work closely with clinical and business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure timely delivery
Manage large or sensitive projects throughout their lifecycle, developing comprehensive documentation, and maintaining expert knowledge of relevant technologies
Proactively identify potential conflicts or roadblocks, work with leadership to resolve issues, and plan projects across multiple applications
Flexibility to travel and work additional hours during critical periods is expected, along with a commitment to professional growth through ongoing learning and development activities

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or information systems
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare, business, or information systems support
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Deep understanding of healthcare workflows and IT systems
Leadership qualities and ability to mentor team members
Experience managing large or sensitive projects

Preferred

Supervisory experience
Project management experience of at least 2 years or equivalent
Certifications relevant to the assigned Epic module or other healthcare IT systems
Proficiency or certification upon employment expected
