Mid LevelSlink It is seeking a hands-on AI Software Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The role involves designing and implementing AI applications, integrating systems, and optimizing voice user interfaces for a seamless experience.

Responsibilities
AI Orchestration: Design and implement complex logic flows using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack or similar frameworks. You’ll build agents that can reason, use tools, and maintain state
Systems Integration: Connect AI cores to the real world. This includes building and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs and ensuring data flows smoothly between our database and the LLM
Voice & Audio Engineering: Implement and optimize Voice User Interfaces (VUI). You will work with STT (Speech-to-Text) and TTS (Text-to-Speech) providers (e.g., Deepgram, ElevenLabs, OpenAI Whisper) to create low-latency, natural-sounding interactions. Skilled in Voice AI/Conversational AI
Performance Tuning: Optimize prompt chains for cost, speed, and accuracy. You'll handle the nuances of 'hallucination' management and context window optimization
Qualification
Required
Expert-level Python or TypeScript/Node.js
Proven experience with orchestration layers (LangChain/LangGraph preferred) and vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate)
Experience handling web sockets for real-time audio streaming and managing the 'turn-taking' logic in voice conversations
Familiarity with deploying AI workloads on AWS, GCP, or Azure, and managing containerized environments (Docker)
