Part-Time Lecturer - Cybersecurity Workforce Development
The University of Louisville is seeking Information Technology Practitioners with experience in cybersecurity-related issues to serve as Part-Time Lecturers in the NSA Cybersecurity Workforce Certificate Program. The role involves facilitating online instruction, providing student support, and collaborating with program leadership to ensure instructional quality.

Responsibilities
Facilitate asynchronous online instruction by guiding students through course content, activities, and assessments
Provide timely feedback, academic support, and clarification to students via the learning management system
Monitor student progress and engagement, intervening as appropriate to support successful course completion
Maintain accurate course records, grades, and required documentation in accordance with university policies
Collaborate with program leadership to ensure instructional quality, curriculum alignment, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in CIS, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Current, relevant CompTIA certification(s) aligned with the curriculum being instructed (A+, Network+, Cloud+, Security+, PenTest+)
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently in an asynchronous instructional environment
Proficiency in MS Office and learning management systems
Preferred
Master's degree in CIS, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Industry experience in cybersecurity or information technology
Prior online or asynchronous teaching or training experience
Experience with workforce education, certification, or credential-based programs
