Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the government location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel
Assist visitors and staff by providing information and directions as needed, while maintaining a professional presence
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment
Qualification
Required
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
