Responsibilities
Provide inmates with training and instruction in the field of electronics
Teach standard practices, methods, and procedures used in the maintenance and repair of various electronic, electrical, and mechanical devices
Conduct classroom training and maintain order and discipline during work assignments
Keep documentation of inmate training, progress, attendance, and assignment details
Oversee and direct inmate work crews as they complete electronics work as part of their on-the-job training
Plan and assign daily schedules for inmates, as well as inspect their completed work assignments
Qualification
Required
Three years of experience in the testing and repair of electronic equipment; or An equivalent combination of experience and training
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
