Responsibilities
Assist with installation and maintenance of distribution and transmission lines
Learn to work with poles, transformers, conductors, and related equipment
Support crews with material handling, vehicle and tool care, and ground operations
Learn to read staking sheets, maps, and basic electrical diagrams
Practice safe work procedures, first aid basics, and utility safety standards
Observe and assist with outage response and field operations (as appropriate)
Qualification
Required
Active enrollment in a college or technical lineworker program
Interest in electrical systems, construction, or utility work
Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work outdoors in all weather
Ability to lift heavy materials and work safely as part of a team
Valid Class A driver's license required
