Responsibilities

Own and drive execution of a 3-year monetization strategy to scale demand and improve ad relevance and performance for users and advertisers
Create strategic alignment and operating rhythm across cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, Sales, PMM, Data Science, Design), including sequencing, dependencies, and shared accountability
Partner with Ads leadership, PMM, and Sales GTM to expand and adapt monetization strategy for international markets to ensure global product-market fit
Lead the Monetization TPM team to deliver full-funnel performance capabilities, industry-compatible interfaces, platform integrations, and AI-first tooling
Set and track KPIs/OKRs tied to business outcomes (e.g., ROAS, revenue) and institutionalize scalable experimentation practices
Remove ambiguity and unblock delivery across multiple parallel, high-priority initiatives; communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs with executive stakeholders
Build, coach, and retain a high-performing TPM org; standardize and elevate TPM craft and best practices across Monetization

Required

Strategic leadership & vision: Proven ability to define and drive long-range, cross-functional strategies and translate them into executable programs with measurable outcomes
Large-scale program leadership: Expertise leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives across highly matrixed orgs spanning engineering, product, and go-to-market partners
People leadership & org building: Experience managing managers, building high-bar TPM teams, coaching leaders, and fostering an accountable, inclusive culture of delivery excellence
Strong technical acumen: Ability to engage deeply on architectural tradeoffs and execution across APIs, data, and AI systems (deep Pinterest-stack knowledge can be developed on the job)
Executive communication & influence: Strong written and verbal communication skills, executive presence, and ability to align senior stakeholders through ambiguity and change
Change management + metrics orientation: Track record of leading transformation (including AI-first workflows) and operating with clear KPIs/OKRs and experimentation-driven iteration

Preferred

Monetization and ad tech understanding: Familiarity with digital advertising ecosystems and performance marketing; ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge to Pinterest's context
