Responsibilities
Provides geared machine replacement feasibility reviews for modernization estimates
Interpret bid specifications and responding to field office's questions mechanical equipment in an effective & timely manner
Knowledge of elevator code requirements to evaluate for changes in existing hoistways; such as increasing elevator speed, changing elevator capacity, and increasing the elevators travel
Provides geared machine specifications and work with vendors to get approved machine drawings for production
Works to identify & resolve technical issues in the design and implementation of geared elevator replacement projects
Works closely with senior engineers to ensure that the business objectives are implemented and achieved
This is a first shift position with hybrid work location from both the office and home
Qualification
Required
3+ years of engineering project management experience
Proven ability in analytical thinking, effective problem-solving, and strong communication skills
Highly self-motivated with a strong understanding of best practices, processes, and procedures
Demonstrated capability to plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer deadlines
Proficient in Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and others
Authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is preferred
Familiar with CAD tools, with a preference for AutoCAD and/or CREO
