Responsibilities
Coordinate daily delivery routes and schedules to maximize driver efficiency
Manage high-volume inbound and outbound communication with drivers, customer service, and internal offices
Coordinate recovery and tender of freight at local airports
Monitor drivers to ensure all pickup and delivery expectations are met
Break down freight upon return to the office
Monitor clearance status and update shipment notes for customer service and origin offices
Ensure timely freight recovery and communicate all special pickup and delivery instructions to drivers
Monitor and maintain cold chain compliance for airport and office-held shipments
Assist with preparation, refurbishment, and configuration of gel packs and temperature-controlled packaging
Ensure proper storage of shipments at airlines and within the office
Monitor 'On-Hold' shipments and update outbound flight monitoring systems
Respond promptly to personal and group email communications
Ensure all company policies, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures are followed
Maintain training records, certifications, qualifications, and complete required testing on time
Assist leadership team members with daily operational needs
Report all complaints, concerns, or issues to management immediately
Perform additional duties as assigned
Work overtime and flexible hours as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
2–3 years of experience in a related field
Proficient computer skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Sense of urgency and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work well in a team environment
Professional demeanor
Ability to safely lift packages up to 75 lbs
Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional afternoons, evenings, weekends, and overtime
