Adhering to principles of asepsis and policies and procedures
Demonstrating knowledge of surgical procedures and providing support to patients, visitors, physicians, staff and ancillary personnel
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program, military training program or equivalent formal training program
Expertise with instrument processing and asepsis
Knowledge of sterility standards, AAMI and AORN
Current BLS-HCP
Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Preferred
A minimum of one year related experience in an acute surgical setting
