Experience working for a General Contractor as an estimator bidding on projects ranging from 5M to 100M
Estimating self-performed work and pricing the labor, equipment, and material costs
Working knowledge of construction assemblies and all project phases
Ability to produce accurate estimates from conceptual and schematic drawings along with ability to produce detailed, final contract estimates
Ability to assess site exposures/construction risks and be able to appropriately analyze cost and reflect this in the estimate
Ability to identify constructability issue through the estimating process
Ability to identify value-engineering alternatives
Team player with the ability to read, write and communicate effectively
Ability to travel to jobsites for job walks and site visits occasionally
Qualification
Required
Experience working for a General Contractor as an estimator bidding on projects ranging from 5M to 100M

A four-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent required
Four years plus experience working for a General Contractor as an estimator bidding on underground utilities project between 5M and 100M
Proficient using estimating software and MS Suite to include Excel
Preferred
Previous Underground Utility Estimating experience a plus
Ability to communicate effectively with management and fellow employees
