Responsibilities
Lead mechanical engineering design activities on major projects in the U.S
Design, model, and simulate mechanical systems for hyperscale and AI data centers, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, cooling towers, chilled water systems, and boilers
Prepare engineering calculations and detailed mechanical drawings
Design highly energy-efficient and sustainable systems
Create technical documentation for project execution, including design criteria and specifications
Ensure project requirements are met in terms of scope, cost, and schedule
Collaborate with architects and engineers to coordinate BIM models and resolve conflicts
Review shop drawings for compliance with engineering codes and safety standards
Develop and maintain project scope documentation and revisions
Utilize BIM tools for virtual construction of mechanical systems and coordination with other disciplines
Manage and coordinate projects, including on-site supervision
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress
Utilize laser scanning technology to document installation states
Qualification
Required
U.S. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or foreign degree equivalent
1 year of experience as a Mechanical Designer or related occupation
1 year of experience preparing detailed (LOD400), clash-free BIM models for mechanical and electrical systems in large-scale facilities
Experience managing and mentoring mechanical engineering teams, including mechanical designers and BIM specialists
Advanced proficiency in engineering and design software tools, including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, TRACE® 3D Plus, Revizto, and coordination platforms including Autodesk Construction Cloud and Bentley Synchro
