This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with the Superintendent to deliver exceptional playing conditions and support ongoing course improvements.

Responsibilities
Managing and training staff (5 year-round and up to 30 seasonally)
Conducting morning job assignments and meetings using TaskTracker
Logging fertilizer applications, topdressing applications, and cultivation practices in Greenskeeper
Facilities daily practices such as course set up, hand watering, mowing, fertilizer applications, and large equipment operations
Has a working knowledge of irrigation, fertilization (granular and foliar), tractors, small equipment, and spreaders/spray rigs
Ensuring elite playing conditions, consistent from tee to green, and help achieve our goal of perpetual improvement
Winter work consists of snow removal (snowplows, tractors, snow blowers, and hand-shoveling)
Qualification
Required
5+ years golf course/turf management experience
2 or 4 year degree/certificate in turf grass management
Utah pesticide application license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills
Valid Driver's License
Having the ability to lift 50+ pounds and bend, balance, reach, stoop, kneel, and reach with both arms for sustained periods of time as the task dictates
Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including weekends and holidays
Preferred
Spanish speaking is a plus
