Electromigration Test Intern
Indium Corporation is focused on electromigration reliability in high-performance computing and advanced packaging applications. The Electromigration Test Intern will assist with sample preparation, testing, and data collection to evaluate the performance of solder and interconnect materials.

Responsibilities
Assist with preparation and reflow of planar EM test samples using various solder and interconnect materials
Support setup, validation, and troubleshooting of electromigration test hardware
Collect, organize, and pre-process EM test data for analysis and reporting
Perform electrical measurements and resistance monitoring
Document test procedures, wiring configurations, and experimental observations
Qualification
Required
All interns must be active college students who have completed their freshman year and are enrolled in courses for the Fall semester of 2026
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, materials science or related field
Basic understanding of electronics, electronic materials, metallurgy
Ability to work hands-on with experimental setups and laboratory equipment
Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to document results clearly
Preferred
Previous experience through coursework or research in electrical measurement is a plus
