Responsibilities
Test product and identify potential undesirable operation through all of the New Product Development stages
Tests functional performance of systems, subassemblies, and parts under specified conditions
Connects unit to be tested to test equipment such as signal generator, frequency meter, or spectrum analyzer etc
Compares results with specifications and records test data
Analyzes test results on defective units to determine cause of failure
Performs a visual inspection to verify compliance with PetSafe Brands™ specs
Prepares test equipment to evaluate performance and operation of nonstandard or customer returned units
Performs Root Cause Analyses as needed and reports findings
Manage own work assignments to hit deliverables and targets
Enter troubleshooting data into the returns database
Answer inbound calls from Invisible Fence Brand® install technicians and provide technical support as needed. Rotating schedule from 8AM to 8PM EST
Qualification
Required
Associates degree with 2+ years of experience in related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills
Possesses excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Is self-starting, self-motivated, and a goal-oriented team member
Has ability to multi-task with multiple projects at one time to meet deadlines
Possesses the ability to work independently and with a team to accomplish tasks
Working knowledge of electrical equipment for component and PCBA evaluation
