Responsibilities
Design seasonal handbag collections from concept through production
Establish handbags as the anchor category for accessories design direction
Conceptualize materials, silhouettes, trims, and hardware
Develop design concepts that align with the overall product direction
Create and maintain detailed design files, specs, and tech documentation
Participate in sample reviews and prototype evaluations
Partner cross-functionally throughout the development process
Conduct trend, market, and material research relevant to accessories
Support and guide a junior team member
Present design work to internal stakeholders
Qualification
Required
6+ years of accessories design experience
Proven expertise in handbag or leather goods design
Strong understanding of materials, construction, and functionality
Ability to design custom hardware and trims
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Preferred
Experience expanding or building an accessories category
Background in lifestyle or contemporary accessories
Experience working within lean design teams
Open to relocation if not local
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, or a related field is preferred
