Production Operator-Welder

Responsibilities

Executing assembly and welding of stainless steel parts on plates ranging from 1.5mm to 6mm thickness across all welding positions using MIG/MAG processes
Regulating and preparing welding equipment according to internal instructions, including voltage, amperage, welding speed, oscillation, and shielding gas flow
Inspecting finished products to ensure the defined quality level is achieved consistently
Conducting assembly tasks prior to welding, which involves positioning parts and performing tack welds to ensure correct placement
Verifying the quality, specifications, and measurements as per the drawing throughout the assembly process
Monitoring and guiding the activities of other welding technicians, providing instructions and technical support to help them meet their deadlines while adhering to quality norms
Utilizing APSYS tools (5S, Autonomous Team, SMED, TPM, Self Inspection, Shop Floor Meetings) to optimize work processes
Executing welding activities per the area's specific needs and through relevant qualifications

Required

Experience in operating production equipment and performing welding tasks
Ability to assemble, fabricate, or repair metal structures and components according to specifications
Experience in executing assembly and welding of stainless steel parts on plates ranging from 1.5mm to 6mm thickness using MIG/MAG processes
Ability to regulate and prepare welding equipment according to internal instructions, including voltage, amperage, welding speed, oscillation, and shielding gas flow
Skill in inspecting finished products to ensure the defined quality level is achieved consistently
Experience in conducting assembly tasks prior to welding, including positioning parts and performing tack welds
Ability to verify quality, specifications, and measurements as per the drawing throughout the assembly process
