Responsibilities
Performs accurate data entry of invoices into the system, including but not limited to: steel, freight, and other miscellaneous invoices
Three way matching of invoices
Tracking payments to vendors-Verifies accuracy in daily billing of customers
Conduct various spreadsheets used by Accounting Manager
Works closely with Corporate AP to resolve any issues
Collect and make sure all invoices are signed by the appropriate party per SOX requirements
Code all invoices with the correct account numbers
Participate as requested in auditing activities as needed
Scan and enter all invoices to document storage system
Convert scrap pricing each month
Maintain AP files and BOL files
Prepare invoice packet for review by Accounting Manager
Assist Accounting Manager with AP part of month end close
Order all office supplies - Maintain office supply room
Keep Kitchen/ lunch room areas stocked
Plan/Organize office events and parties - Order food for company events and meetings
Conduct employee engagement
Track employees vacation time
Assist the plant and safety managers
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience required
1-3 years of Office Managing experience
High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Skilled at verbal and written communication
Ability to effectively and efficiently collect, consolidate, extract, and summarize data from multiple locations and systems
Preferred
Associate's degree or commensurate experience preferred
