Responsibilities
Independently design and develop data, software, or technology solutions to answer scientific or business questions. Demonstrate proficiency across a range of technologies related to programming languages, data integration, data warehousing, and data visualization and analysis
Understand the broad objectives of the project as well as their role in achieving those objectives and modify approach when required. Escalates open issues to ensure execution success and keeps stakeholders informed through effective verbal and written communication
Learn, understand and master new methods and technologies, and act as a resource or mentor for others
Effectively organize and present project objectives and progress. Contribute to technical publications and presentations
Obtain estimates/quotes from vendors and provide as input into overall project time and cost estimates
Produces and maintains required technical documentation associated with work products
The candidate is expected to work cross functionally with various IT shared services teams, manufacturing site representatives, and QA Labs business stakeholders
Defines Data, Reporting and AI strategies for AbbVie QC Labs and outlines value-based roadmaps to enable business insights and improve efficiency
Analyzes and resolves technical problems using analytical problem-solving methods/techniques and associated tools/devices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field with 5 yrs relevant work experience
Excellent analytical, judgment and consultative capabilities and communication skills
Excellent communications and influencing skills with strong ability to balance differing stakeholder interests through sound analysis and persuasion
Should have experience configuring and deploying Lab Systems (LIMS, ELN, CDS, Inventory, Asset Management)
Detailed understanding of relational databases, reporting databases, possesses SQL skills and coding skills (eg. Python, C#, json)
