Akkodis is seeking a Release Train Engineer for a Contract with a client in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will lead Agile Release Train ceremonies and oversee automated release management processes to ensure timely deployments and cross-team alignment.

Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies, including PI planning, system demos, and inspect‑and‑adapt sessions
Coordinate cross‑team dependencies and remove impediments to ensure smooth and predictable delivery across the ART
Oversee automated release management processes, ensuring consistent, high‑quality, and timely deployments
Partner with product management, engineering leads, and stakeholders to align program‑level priorities and delivery objectives
Monitor ART performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with SAFe/Agile practices while coaching teams to adopt best‑in‑class delivery and release workflows

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
10+ years of experience in Agile delivery, program coordination, or Release Train Engineering
Strong expertise in SAFe/Agile frameworks and automated release management as required by the client
Proven ability to lead onsite Agile Release Trains and collaborate with cross‑functional teams per client expectations
