Responsibilities
Execute structural calculations
Coordinate with other discipline engineers and designers
Perform site layout
Review vendor drawings
Write structural analysis reports
Coordinate with Structural AutoCAD designers to create facility 3D models and construction drawings
Review drawings and models for accuracy
Create contractor scopes of work
Write specifications (pre-engineered metal buildings, Geotech, etc.)
Create contractor bid packages
Create bills of material (BOMs)
Review shop drawings
Answer RFIs from contractors
Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience practicing discipline-specific engineering on multidiscipline project teams required
Professional Engineer and/or Structural Engineer License required
3+ years of leadership experience required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
Advanced communication skills required
Problem-solving skills required
Awareness of workflow required
Expert user of technology required to execute daily tasks
Willingness to make decisions required
Ability to make decisions required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to self-direct and be responsible for own tasks, deliverables, and timelines required
Basic leadership skills and experience leading work groups or task forces in specific projects required
Competent user of technology and software required to execute daily tasks required
Must have a valid, active driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record required
