Responsibilities

Keep up with detailed ADI technical/product knowledge and assisting dealer base and sales staff with the pre-sale design of systems products

Process customer and branch requests for assistance on pre-sale design of systems related products in the form of written quotes

Researching best in class product solutions from a wide variety of vendor product

Operating in a call-center environment responding to customer and branch from phone and email requests

Maintaining a detailed daily log of all telephone and quote activities

Supporting a learning culture by actively participating in various educational activities

Qualification

Required

3+ years experience in system design support, technical sales support or related field

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred

Sales experience in a retail or distribution environment

Industry knowledge: Fire, Intrusion and Home Automation
