Responsibilities

Lead cross disciplinary engineering teams to define and execute ExLS product development, aligning hardware, software, and systems efforts
Coordinate program tasks and decompose them into actionable work packages for Product Development Teams across multiple geographic locations
Manage cost, schedule, and risk, applying earned value and cost estimating techniques to maintain program performance
Communicate status, issues, and technical decisions to Program Management, the Chief Engineer, and external customers, including international travel as needed
Ensure technical resource requirements are met, overseeing resource allocation and supporting Control Account Management for programs exceeding $5M
Drive implementation of One Lockheed Martin Transformation (1LMX) principles to continuously improve processes and product quality

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering (or a related technical field) with 7 years of relevant engineering experience, including experience as an Integrated Product Team Lead or similar role
Demonstrated competence in leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams
Strong understanding of product development processes, including hardware, software and systems
Proficiency in earned value, schedule, cost, and risk management techniques
Experience as Control Account Manager on a program valued at over $5M
Experience with cost estimating / proposal development
Ability to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level

Preferred

Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills and be able to communicate at both programmatic and technical levels with subordinates, peers, senior management levels and customers
Strong understanding of one or more of the following: Military product development and customer experience including Department of Defense, Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, US Army and/or Marines
Knowledge of Digital Transformation principles and ability to drive implementation of improvements
Knowledge of MK41 Vertical Launching Systems, Expeditionary Launching System, and Advanced Launcher Products
