Responsibilities
Monitor network performance, system alerts, and health indicators using tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including outages, latency, and configuration errors
Document incidents, root causes, resolutions, and configuration changes within the ticketing system
Perform network maintenance, firmware upgrades, and equipment installations according to established procedures
Follow standard operating procedures to communicate planned outages, incidents, and maintenance updates to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions and improve network reliability and performance
Conduct root cause analyses and recommend process improvements to reduce recurring issues
Mentor and assist junior NOC analysts in troubleshooting and new technology adoption
Ensure compliance with company security standards and network security best practices
Support internal and external compliance initiatives and participate in technical audits as required
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC), network administration, or IT support environment
Demonstrated experience with network monitoring tools, device configuration, and incident management systems
Experience supporting enterprise networks involving routers, switches, and firewalls
Preferred
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Prior experience with service provider or telecom networks
