Responsibilities
Define, develop and sustain enhancements to a live communication system
Provide warfighters with a cellular phone-like service for direct communication
Lead the systems development life cycle with proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools
Apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions
Collaborate with team members and provide technical leadership
Meet challenging customer requirements with effective negotiation strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
Experience as a Systems Engineer on a complex software system
Strong software background
Experience on large solution programs which includes both Hardware and Software
Success leading the systems development life cycle
Strong proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools
Creative thinker motivated to apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions
Collaborative team player with the ability to provide technical leadership and position others for success
Strong presentation and communications skills
Experience in the art of negotiation
Ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions
Preferred

Understanding of DOD domain/programs
