Responsibilities

Setup and maintenance of computers, printers, phones, etc
Image new computer hardware in preparation for deployment to end-user, install and update computer software
Proper disposal of older equipment
Computer and Printer Inventory / Supplies
Password resets, cable Management
Monitor/Assign and respond to tickets submitted through Help Desk Ticket System

Qualification

Required

Current student in a local college or university (must be enrolled) toward BS degree in Computer Science or related field
Must have completed two years of courses in Computer Science or related field; three years preferred
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better is preferred
Some technical training or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Personal Computer (PC) hardware and software
Must have excellent customer service demeanor, verbal communication skills
Strong people and team skills
Strong documentation and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work tasks during shift
Ability to thrive under pressure and handle multiple projects
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting working towards group goals
Full-time availability (up to 40 hours) during the summer
Must be a U.S. citizen
