The intern will work on various developmental assignments, including creating SolidWorks models, assisting with prototype testing, and contributing to documentation packages for custom projects.

Responsibilities
Creating SolidWorks models and drawings per the bill of materials
Assisting with and monitoring of prototype valve testing
Assisting with design and validation of new pressure control module
Assisting with concept validation testing for low viscosity measurement
Assisting with the Research and Development (R&D) Lab reorganization
Contributing to the creation of documentation packages for custom projects, as needed
Updating Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VA/VE) tracking
Assisting with repair of in-house R&D laboratory instruments
Other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be currently pursuing degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or similar
Ability to work 40 hour work weeks from Mid-May to Mid-August
Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
Exposure to or experience with 3D CAD
Minimum 3.0 GPA
