Educator Programs Analyst

The State of Oregon's Department of Education is seeking an Educator Programs Analyst to join their Educator Advancement Council team. Responsibilities

Develop written grant guidance for grantees, and monitor and enforce grant provisions relating to fiscal, operational, and programmatic requirements of grants
Provide ongoing technical assistance and follow-up with grantees to support compliance with grant requirements, including deliverables and reimbursement requests
Assist in the development of performance measures, study and evaluate program operations, revise guidelines for use and adapt procedures to improve program operations, including identifying barriers to program implementation, designing strategies to eliminate barriers, and improvements for efficiency and quality of grant program delivery
Administer grants and oversee distribution of funds using the Electronic Grant Management System (EGMS), including developing and distributing forms, documentation, and other applicable resources

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years experience coordinating or administering a program
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification

Preferred

Strong organization and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities; work with multiple deadlines, continual change, and at times heavy workloads; and pivot between competing priorities (including many same-day requests) and situations with ease and grace
Ability to collaboratively work across the agency, state government, with school districts, public charter schools and private schools
Experience providing advice or technical assistance to school districts, tribes, community groups or public
Experience with contract and grant development and management
Experience with data collection, analysis and evaluation
Experience working with culturally and individually diverse groups and ability to solicit and value diverse viewpoints
