Workforce Development Training Coordinator- BH

LifePath Systems is seeking a Workforce Development Training Coordinator to oversee clinical onboarding and training for new workforce members in clinical programs. This role involves instructing on curricula and training materials while promoting workforce engagement and retention activities.

Responsibilities

Implementation of clinical onboarding, training, and support to new workforce members in clinical programs as well as ongoing training and support for tenured staff
Instruct on curricula, course outlines, and training materials based on regulatory requirements, program contracts, and based in person directed, trauma informed, and CLAS models of care
Serve as the subject matter expert in training for the Substance Use Disorder program
Maintain an up-to-date spreadsheet for CCBHC measures that records the number of SUD specific trainings delivered to individual learners
Provide trainings that meet the wide range of learning styles and ensures the effective use of modern training methodologies (in-person groups or individual training activities as well as e-learning)
Collaborate with similar subject matter experts for successful onboarding and training as well as promote center wide workforce engagement, recruitment, and retention activities
Demonstrate versatility in delivering training not only on substance use, but also crisis response and intensive services
Provide learning strategies that aligns with policy and procedure, compliance, contract and state standards
Be proficient in the Learning Management System (Relias) including course creating, enrollment and tracking course completion
Provide training through group or classroom settings, one on one and in real time with individuals served out in the field
Be designated as a backup trainer and undergo cross training in multiple programs for additional versatility

Required

Must have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field from a four year university
Bachelor's degree must meet Texas Administrative Code requirements for a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Clinical Services (QMHP-CS)
Has at least three years clinical experience in a community mental health setting providing services to those with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders specifically in adult behavioral health programs
Comprehensive knowledge and ability to teach the understanding severe and persistent mental illness and their appropriate evidenced based practices
Comprehensive knowledge of person centered care, crisis management, cultural competency and CLAS standards, care coordination and trauma informed care
Must have current Texas driver's license

Preferred

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred
Texas Licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) with good standing preferred
Has at least one year experience in program training, supervision, and/or support preferred
