Responsibilities
The co-op student will obtain basic knowledge related to medical instrumentation research, design, development, and testing. Candidates will be expected to have general engineering knowledge including the use of standard engineering practices
This position will include creation and execution of verification tests, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and evaluating instrument and system issues and design alternatives
The co-op student will be given the opportunity to acquire knowledge and understanding of the bioMérieux Design Control process that addresses US and international regulatory requirements, as well as internal Quality requirements
Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in a BS or MS Program in a related Systems, Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering program and completed 1 full year
