INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST I
California Department of Social Services is seeking an Information Technology Specialist I/Business Analyst to join their team. This role involves supporting planning, analysis, and delivery of IT solutions that assist families in accessing essential services, ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into technical solutions.

Responsibilities
Support low-to-moderate complexity projects: develop specifications, analyze data, document processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions
Collaborate with the Project Manager and project support team to develop impact and gap analyses, prepare solicitation documents, and participate on the proposal evaluation team to review vendor submissions
Plan, implement, and coordinate project activities with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and oversight agencies
Maintain strong collaboration with project leadership, agency staff, program teams, advocacy groups, and stakeholders
Prepare Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) documents, Budget Change Proposals (BCPs), and Federal Grant Funding requests for project approvals and funding
Analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and support process improvements
