Responsibilities
Building and sustaining campus relationships and inspiring committed student peers to join the NMDP registry
Engaging students to spread awareness, educate, and inspire committed individuals to join the NMDP Registry through captive-audience presentations, tabling events, digital marketing, and registry recruitment activities
Establishing, cultivating, and growing NDMP Chapter at intern’s college/university as measured by registered student organization status on campus, number of chapter members and new NMDP registry members added by the NMDP Chapter
Delivering genetically varied public health information through the planning and coordination of registry awareness, education, and recruitment activities to align with the vision of campus partners and meet organizational goals and targets
Collaboration with internal NMDP partners, such as Member Recruitment, as well as external partners, such as the intern’s campus community network, is essential for maximizing NMDP’s lifesaving impact
Working collaboratively with a regional Member Recruitment team to accomplish weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual registry recruitment goals
Building NMDP volunteerism on college/university campus including episodic volunteers and NMDP Ambassadors as measured by number of volunteers and hours of volunteers
Leading weekly on-campus activations including captive audience presentations, tabling, collaboration with other campus stakeholders, or NMDP recruitment event
Using social media platforms to effectively promote NMDP’s lifesaving mission
Creating, developing and/or maintaining a registered student organization on campus including hosting executive board and general body meetings, recruiting new members, staying in good standing with the college/university
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at a targeted college or university
Completed at least 30-hours of coursework
Minimum GPA 2.8
Preferred
Preference given to students who are currently NMDP Chapter members, NMDP Ambassadors and/or NMDP volunteers
