Responsibilities
Design and Produce Traffic Control Signs from start to finish, ensuring compliance with MUTCD and local regulations
Operate and maintain wide-format plotters, rollover tables, laminators, and other production equipment
Use Flexi software and other sign design tools to create accurate, scalable layouts for regulatory, warning, and custom signage
Apply vinyl to various sign substrates using proper alignment and finishing techniques
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure durability and legibility of produced signs
Assist with field installation and inspection of temporary and permanent traffic control signs as needed
Work closely with engineering, operations, and field crews to meet project timelines and ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in both shop and field settings
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience in traffic sign production, fabrication, or related field
Proficiency with vinyl cutting/printing, Flexi software, and plotter operation
Ability to read and interpret sign plans, traffic control layouts, and technical drawings
Comfortable working in a shop setting and occasionally outdoors in varying weather conditions
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred
Familiarity with rollover tables and their use in sign construction is highly preferred
Knowledge of Temporary Traffic Control standards is a plus
OSHA or other relevant safety certifications are a plus
