Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing scripts for both digital and print products
Conduct functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing to ensure product performance across platforms and devices
Track, document, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution in partnership with development teams
Test React-based web applications and backend RESTful APIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into clear testing objectives
Verify the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of digital content and publishing workflows
Contribute to process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices for quality assurance
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508) and industry best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Publishing, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience
3–5 years of quality assurance or quality analyst experience, preferably in edtech, SaaS, or publishing
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
Experience testing Single Page Applications (SPAs) and understanding of API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc.) is a plus
Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework) is a plus
Ability to obtain clarifications and report updates with developers and product
Understanding of digital publishing workflows and accessibility requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred
Experience testing Single Page Applications (SPAs) and understanding of API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc.) is a plus
Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework) is a plus
