Staff Production Test Lead

Responsibilities
Develop detailed test execution master plans aligned with production schedules, contract milestones, and airworthiness requirements
Prioritize test sequences, allocate resources, and establish critical path activities to meet delivery dates
Maintain a synchronized test calendar with manufacturing, supply chain, and program management
Supervise a multi disciplinary test crew (test engineers, technicians, air vehicle engineers, mission system engineers)
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and mission focus
Direct the set up, execution, and close out of all production test events
Responsible for the data generations supporting all Production Test CDRLs
Lead team to troubleshoot test anomalies efforts in real time, coordinate corrective actions, and document resolutions
Implement lessons learned and best practice updates to test procedures and documentation
Oversee capture, validation, and archiving of test data
Produce accurate, audit ready test reports and certification packages for airworthiness adjudication
Serve as primary liaison between the production test team, engineering, quality, logistics, and customer
Participate in program milestone reviews, risk assessments, and status meetings
Communicate test status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership
Qualification
Required
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline and 12 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Ph.D. in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related professional/military experience
Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company
Experience with Atlassian tools stack, , i.e. Jira, Confluence, etc
Ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize technical data from multiple sources and present clear, actionable findings and recommendations to diverse audiences
Demonstrated experience in in test program execution. (I.e. developing test procedures, implementing technical edits and successfully executing test protocols, etc.)
Preferred
Masters of Science Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Systems engineering
Experience as a Test Engineer, Test Conductor/Director that includes test planning, execution and operations
Experience in a production line environment
Experience in an aircraft flight line maintenance environment
FAA Airman certification (A&P, Flight Engineer, Pilot)
