Responsibilities
Operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure the dimensions of manufactured parts
Reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD models, and schematics to determine measurement requirements
Setting up and calibrating CMM equipment to ensure accurate measurements
Conducting inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments and tools
Performing quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards
Recording and documenting measurement data and inspection results
Collaborating with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve measurement issues
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Qualification
Required
Operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure the dimensions of manufactured parts
Reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD models, and schematics to determine measurement requirements
Setting up and calibrating CMM equipment to ensure accurate measurements
Conducting inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments and tools

Proficiency in CAD software for reading and interpreting blueprints
Strong blueprint reading skills to understand part dimensions and tolerances
Knowledge of tooling and machining processes
Familiarity with schematics for understanding part assemblies
Experience in quality assurance and quality control procedures
Proficiency in PC-DMIS software for operating CMM equipment
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Strong mathematical skills for performing calculations related to measurements
