Responsibilities

Lead and supervise L1–L2 installers, assigning work and performing real‑time QA
Author and execute Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for live DC power work
Interpret and redline engineered drawings to align installs with site conditions
Perform hot‑taps and hot‑swaps on active DC systems
Oversee grounding (MGB installation) and advanced cable lacing techniques
Lead commissioning and testing, including load bank and battery acceptance
Program plant controllers (e.g., Vertiv NetSure, Eltek Smartpack) and validate alarms
Deliver complete close‑out packages (torque logs, test results, as‑built photos)

Required

Proven experience installing DC power systems in live data centers or telecom facilities
Experience leading crews and owning high-risk installations
Strong knowledge of -48V DC plants, batteries, rectifiers, and bus bars
High attention to detail, safety, and documentation
Ability to perform physically demanding work and manage battery logistics
Willingness to travel for project-based work

OSHA 30
NFPA 70E
OEM certifications (Vertiv/Schneider/GE)
CPR/First Aid
